SHIA LABEOUF ‘Nymphomaniac’ Star Is NOT Famous Anymore

shia labeouf paper bag red carpet (1)

Have you been following Shia LaBeouf? He “retired” from public life after getting caught up in a plagiarism scandal last month. Well, Shia’s decision to quit Hollywood occurred after he had shot a couple of movies, so he still has to promote them. This is why Shia is at the 64th Berlin Film Festival: his new movie, ‘Nymphomaniac,’ is being shown there. Here’s Shia on the red carpet. Yes, that’s Shia under the brown paper bag that says “I am not famous anymore.” Shia attended a press conference before the premiere, and when he was asked about the explicit sex scenes in the movie (you know, the ones he talked about sending a sex tape in for?), Shia said this:

“When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.”

Then Shia reportedly thanked the audience, got up, and left. These words were said by soccer star Eric Cantona in 1995, who said those words before walking out on a press conference as well. I won’t even comment on the fact that Shia again repeated someone else’s words ;). WHAT in the world is going on with Shia? Did he have a chat with Joaquin Phoenix? I don’t believe Shia will truly disappear. We’ll see: he has one more movie to promote, ‘Fury,’ with Brad Pitt. I bet he’ll be back in front of the camera within a year or two.
