The Beckhams are BACK! Well, there back for a bit. As far as I know, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are still based in London. However, New York Fashion Week is likely what’s brought them back across the pond. Here are David, Victoria, and their brood going out to lunch at Balthazar restaurant in NYC.
I can’t believe how much the kids have grown! Look at little Harper. It’s not just Harper, though. All of the boys (Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz) look so much more grown up, too. We’re going to get to see even more of the Beckhams, too: in addition to Victoria’s travel here for Fashion Weeks, David just announced he’s starting an MLS team in Miami. Exciting!

Are you a ‘Game of Thrones‘ fan? If so, then this probably makes your day! HBO released an extended trailer for the upcoming fourth season of ‘Game of Thrones.’ Settle in and have your coffee or tea handy before you watch this: it’s 15 minutes long. It’s a mixture of clips and behind-the-scenes interviews.
I love these types of things! I admit, however, I’m behind on my ‘Game of Thrones’ watching. I’m dreading the Red Wedding, even though I know it’s coming. I haven’t read the books, so everything really is a surprise to me. The Red Wedding got so much coverage, though, it was impossible to avoid. I need to just watch it already so I’m ready for the new season. Are you a ‘Game of Thrones’ fan?
Have you been following Shia LaBeouf? He “retired” from public life after getting caught up in a plagiarism scandal last month. Well, Shia’s decision to quit Hollywood occurred after he had shot a couple of movies, so he still has to promote them. This is why Shia is at the 64th Berlin Film Festival: his new movie, ‘Nymphomaniac,’ is being shown there. Here’s Shia on the red carpet. Yes, that’s Shia under the brown paper bag that says “I am not famous anymore.” Shia attended a press conference before the premiere, and when he was asked about the explicit sex scenes in the movie (you know, the ones he talked about sending a sex tape in for?), Shia said this:
“When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.”
Then Shia reportedly thanked the audience, got up, and left. These words were said by soccer star Eric Cantona in 1995, who said those words before walking out on a press conference as well. I won’t even comment on the fact that Shia again repeated someone else’s words ;). WHAT in the world is going on with Shia? Did he have a chat with Joaquin Phoenix? I don’t believe Shia will truly disappear. We’ll see: he has one more movie to promote, ‘Fury,’ with Brad Pitt. I bet he’ll be back in front of the camera within a year or two.

Here are Charlize Theron and Sean Penn leaving the nail salon after some pampering, couples-style! This was a busy week, news-wise. It started off with a shock with the death of iconic actor Philip Seymour Hoffman from an alleged heroin overdose. The Super Bowl underwhelmed everyone (except Seattle Seahawks fans). Plenty of magazine covers debuted, from Miley Cyrus to Lady Gaga to ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ star Dakota Johnson. The Hollywood baby boom continued: Kevin and Danielle Jonas welcomed a baby while Doutzen Kroes announced she’s expecting. BFFs Ben Affleck and Matt Damon announced a TV deal, while Simon Cowell announced he’s headed back to London after Fox cancelled ‘X Factor.’ And, of course, the 2014 Olympics kicked off, but not the way figure skater Jeremy Abbott would have liked. Check it all out below!
